Shooting at Arlington House Party

One man is killed and another critically injured after a dispute that escalated into gunfire at an Arlington house party.

Police were called to the scene around 1:20 a.m. Sunday morning where they found the two victims outside.

The two victims were rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital for treatment.  Obeth Hernandez, 18, was pronounced dead at the hospital while the other victim is in critical condition.

The Arlington police are still interviewing witnesses about what caused the shooting. Anyone willing to provide anonymous information is encouraged to call crime stoppers at 813-469-8477.
